Before its official presentation, Google shows its Pixel Watch on YouTube. The video allows you to discover its design down to the smallest detail and the use of Gorilla Glass.
Google’s first connected watch, the Pixel Watch, will be one of the products to watch for later in the year. Google will present its touch on October 6, at the same time as the Pixel 7 and 7 Pro. An expected event for a product that already has many secrets.
The Mountain View firm had sneakily unveiled its watch on the occasion of I/O 2022 in the last hand. After a teaser broadcast during the week, Google returns to the fray at the end of September with a new video. Broadcast on its YouTube platform, it allows us to discover the Pixel Watch from new angles for just under a minute.
you can see his crown and the mechanism of fixing her bracelet. The short video confirms in passing that the Pixel Watch will be available in different colors. Stainless steel, steel, black and rose gold cases are featured; as well as yellow/green, white/beige, gray and black straps. The video also highlights the presence ofat least seven different dials.
Gorilla Glass for the Pixel watch
As might be expected, the watch is somewhat overweight and plays with this particularity to adopt a full format. We can also see the touch on the wrist of a woman and a man in the video. Note that we had already seen the Pixel Watch on Sundar Pichai’s wrist.
However, the main novelty of this sequence refers to a technical element. We can distinguish the mentions Gorilla Glass on the back of the watch, which should make the watch scratch resistant. However, Google does not specify whether the facade benefits from the same protection. As your partner and (future) Samsung competitorthe American giant could opt for a sapphire crystal.
As for the price, these latest indiscretions will be lifted on October 6. As a reminder, the Pixel Watch would start a $349.99 in Bluetooth/Wi-Fi version and $399.99 for 4G/LTE model.
